Former White House Director of Communications Anthony Scaramucci, who is the founder and managing partner of global alternative investment firm SkyBridge Capital (“SkyBridge”), is predicting that Bitcoin will reach $100K within the next two years.
In a recent interview with CNBC, the global investment firm CEO said that the increase in new Bitcoin wallets was a bullish indicator that $BTC would make a move into the six-digit range within the next two years.
Citing data from analytics platform Glassnode, Scaramucci estimated that there were close to 245 million individual Bitcoin wallets in the world.
As reported by The Daily Hodl, he said,
When I made or when SkyBridge made its first Bitcoin investment, we were talking about 85 million wallets and that was October-November of 2020, so just think of the spectacular growth of the Bitcoin network.
Scaramucci also mentioned that wallets were a strong indication of the market’s support for Bitcoin.
According to him, the public will get “more confidence” in Bitcoin as the number of wallets and transactions on the network increases. He noted that Cathie Wood, CEO of the legendary Ark Invest, would say that one billion Bitcoin wallets would “easily” translate to a price of $500K per coin.
Scaramucci went on to predictt that Bitcoin would break the $100,000 mark by 2024, saying that the number one cryptoasset by market capitalization was scaling well globally.
