Samsung has added support for TRON-based decentralized applications to its Galaxy Store, allowing users in Europe and the United states with access to its built-in crypto wallet to interact with the TRON blockchain.
Samsung mobile device users are now able to download decentralized applications from a dedicated section of its app store, the Galaxy Store. On-chain games like Blockchain Cuties and Super Player are now available from the store, while other dapps are to be added in the near future.

TRON founder Justin Sun noted that the collaboration with the South Korean giant is going to “the next level by integrating both ecosystems together.” The partnership was first unveiled in October, when both companies released a software development kit (SDK) allowing users to access the TRON blockchain via Samsung devices.
According to Sun, TRON dapps being available via the Galaxy Store is an “incredible opportunity” for the cryptocurrency’s ecosystem to get in front of a whole new userbase, as Samsung is one of the world’s largest mobile device firms, shipping nearly 300 million units last year.
The decentralized applications are only available to users with a Samsung device that supports its built-in cryptocurrency wallet, that quietly added support for TRX back in October. The wallet initially launched with support for Ethereum, but added BTC later in August, before adding TRON.
Samsung’s cryptocurrency wallet, according to the firm, is set to in the future be added to budget Galaxy smartphones. For now, it’s only available on some of its flagship devices, such as the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S20.
