DPRating, a cryptocurrency rating agency established in 2017, has released the July 2018 edition of its crypto echange rankings, with Binance ranked number one.
DPRating, which in the words of its founder, Darpal Wang, “aims to be the Moody’s of the crypto space”, produces various types of reports to help investors.
The “crypto exchange rankings” report says that exchanges should be evaluated along three dimensions:
- Team Dimension (looking at “the founding team of the exchange, the investors and for how long the exchange has been running”)
- Development Dimension (looking at stability and security of the platform)
- Community Dimension (looking at popularity on social media, e.g. how many followers does it have on Twitter, as well number of unique daily visitors)
- Trading Dimension (this looks at range of available tokens/coins, the degree of liquidity, and trading volume)
