On Wednesday (February 10), American actress Lindsay Lohan shared her latest thoughts on Bitcoin.

First, around 10:47 UTC, she tweeted:

Then, at 17:05 UTC, she said that Bitcoin is the future in a tweet that also promoted a non-fungible token (NFT) artwork she is selling for 33 ETH on popular NFT marketplace Rarible, which happens to be powered by Ethereum.

The artwork in question is named “Lindsay ‘Lightning’ Lohan”. In the Rarible listing page for this item, Lohan says:

I believe in a world which is financially decentralized and the power of dreams to be the core lightning network of humans. Here is my first Digital Collectible from which I shall donate to charities that accept Bitcoin to empower younger generations in order for them to adapt and learn about this revolution that humanity is witnessing.

With this move, Lohan joins the growing list of famous people and brands that are selling NFT collectibles.

On January 27, American billionaire entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban, who is the majority owner of the professional basketball team Dallas Mavericks, as well as one of the “sharks” on the highly popular reality show “Shark Tank” (which is aired on the ABC television network), minted an NFT called “The RollUp 2021” and put up for sale 10 editions of this NFT (0.02 ETH for each one) on Rarible.

Recently, Cuban was interviewed by Coindesk, and this is what he had to say about NFT:

You can sell anything digital using NFTs. We can sell virtual Mavs gear, sneakers, art, pictures, videos, experiences, anything our imagination can come up with we can sell… The challenge is creating the market… But this is an area I’m looking to invest in.
