On Tuesday (August 1), BitMEX launched “BitMEX Mobile”.

Crypto derivatives exchange BtMEX was co-founded in 2014 by Arthur Hayes, Samuel Reed, and Ben Delo. It is wholly-owned and operated by HDR Global Trading Limited, a Republic of Seychelles incorporated entity.

Hayes announced on BitMEX’s official blog on July 15 that he and the other two co-founders of BitMEX were “creating a new holding company structure, branded 100x, to pursue a broader vision to reshape the modern digital financial system into one which is inclusive and empowering.”

This blog post went on to say that 100x would become “the new holding structure for HDR Global Trading and all our other assets, including the BitMEX platform.”

Earlier today, BitMEX announced on its official blog the launch of “BitMEX Mobile“, its new mobile trading app (for both iOS and Android), which promises “simple, smart, and highly secure” trading on your smartphone. Note that BitMEX Mobile is not available in all countries (e.g. one of those excluded countries is the UK).

Here is a list of BitMEX Mobile’s main features:

  • order builder
  • management of open positions
  • real-time data/charts
  • deposits and withdrawals
  • biometric authentication
